TESTIMONIALS
What our guests say
"We keep coming back to Brissac because there's nowhere else quite like it. Perched beneath an ancient chateau, there is a timelessness to the place. You're well away from the crowds, with calming, panoramic views of the Languedoc countryside and beautiful, far-off Cevennes mountains. There is a lovely market town 10 minutes away by car and interesting places nearby, as well as deep, clear river gorges to swim in. Hard to believe you're less than an hour from the airport. For us, Brissac has everything you want from a holiday. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home."
Jamie Ross, London, UK
"Brissac is a magical place where our family has enjoyed spending summer holidays for nearly 40 years. Excellent accommodation and a lovely swimming pool. The views from the terrace are spectacular and you are only a short hop from the nearby town of Ganges which has a wonderful weekly market. Superb vineyards are close by and both the rivers Herault and Vis are great for swimming."
Mick & Jill Westwood, East Sussex
"Brissac is charming and the surrounding countryside is stunning and unspoiled. We spent the month of September there with serial visits from three of our ‘kids’ and their partners (grandchild free) and loved every minute of it. The house has expansive views over the hills in the daytime, and magnificent views of the heavens at night. Everyone’s favourite activities were walking the hill paths and running to the pristine Herault with its wonderful swimming 5 km away. The house itself works well for a group with lots of space to enjoy quiet time. Further afield are many wonderful sites, hill towns, waterfalls and historical points of interest for those who can tear themselves away. Our month in Brissac was lovely, as was every visit we have made there (five in total) over the decades."

"We had a wonderful stay in Brissac; the area and landscape were stunning, with views to die for. I needed the quiet and tranquility of the place to unwind and totally reset the battery and it definitely did this. The pool is a lovely addition to dangle your feet and float around in on those hot summer lazy days."
Tom Marston, Wales
"Weariness falls from you as soon as you enter, a merry jest by the pool and dancing until late. This house is where I leave the world behind and enjoy my family at its very best. A thunderstorm in the valley viewed from the terrace is a special treat; a wonderful place altogether."
Gabriel Stroud, West Sussex
